My camera is being shipped out this week. These are the last shots (well actually these are the first shots, as the last shot broke the camera. Just not the sd card.).
It has turned very cold this week (in the 30's, 20's, and teens overnight) and the trees have dropped their leaves. It seemed like overnight.
A leaf fluttered in through the window this morning, as if supported by the rays of the sun, a bird settled on the fire escape, joy in the task of coffee, joy accompanied me as I walked.

Beautiful red maple tree! Lovely poem.
ReplyDeleteMy Ruby Tuesday post
Great red leaf shots.
ReplyDeleteYour lucky they lasted so long. Ours have been gone for weeks!
ReplyDeleteFab, fab, fab photos. Our trees lost their leaves weeks ago so it's been a bit miserable since. Love the light shining through the branches. Ah that makes me feel better.
ReplyDeleteSpectacular color! (http://anglouise.blogspot.com

ReplyDeleteYour pictures are beautiful! I guess I'll have to wait to see more of them, but just wanted to say hello and thanks for visiting Lucy & I! -- Marianne
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful series of photos!
ReplyDeleteMy Ruby Tuesday, have a nice day!
Lucky you having this lovely view from your window.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! I'll have to stop in more often. :-) Thanks for your comment on Cranberry Morning. I left a note for you on there re. the crock pot roast.
ReplyDeleteWow! I love these photos! I was trying to think if we had any red leaves around (almost all the leaves are finished here for the season), but I am thinking, ironically, the nearest one is at the transfer station. (read: dump!)

Hi sis, I'm visiting back. Following you too.
ReplyDelete...and congratulations! You made it through November!
ReplyDeleteAnd you know we love the post title - grins.
ReplyDeleteLook! The problem is fixed! Hooray, comments for me!
ReplyDeleteWhich is good because I totally LOVE your pictures on this post! Autumn is my favorite time of year, and we always go from the intense heat of summer to freeze your hiney off rain and cold, and autumn just escapes us. I think we had one week of autumn this year at my house. So, thank you for the lovely pictures!
Love your photos -- definitely ruby tuesday!
ReplyDeleteWanted to stop by and say I’m so glad you decided to join in the fun of What’s in a Name 4. Hope you like the categories.
Nothing prettier to photograph than autumn leaves. These shots are lovely. The ruby reds look striking against the brilliant blue sky. Thanks for stopping by at mine. I'm a bit late getting back. Enjoy the day!
