National Blog Posting Month!!!!!!!

I hope everyone had a fabulous Halloween!! We spent the evening with Honey's parents and brother. The kids went trick or treating and then we all got to eat Grandmas special graveyard dessert! Mater was Spiderman, Wonka was "I have no idea what he was," Shrimp was a hobo (the story behind her costume is: we just spent the weekend in Las Vegas for travel softball and Saturday night we were on Fremont street so that Mater could experience the Fremont Experience! Anyway, Miss Shrimp became enamored of one of the street performers. Well, she kept calling him a hobo not street performer and since he is now her future husband......), and Flea was a troll.

Mater got to "carve" his first pumpkin this year. Well, he wouldn't actually stick his hand into the pumpkin, but he did sit there while Nona and Aunt Shrimp carved!!!

It is that time of year again! 30 posts in 30 days!! I think I can do it! I did it last year!

I give you the Troll, Spiderman, Hobo, and G-d only knows!!!!

If it's November, it must be NaBlPoMo!!!!!

National Blog Posting Month is the epicenter of daily blogging! People who want to set the habit of blogging by doing it every day for a month, including weekends, can come here for moral support, inspiration, and the camaraderie that only marathon blogging can provide.

So, without further ado...... a little bit of my weekend...
This little guy came for a visit

He is so nicknamed after the Cars character,

and he is our first (and so far only) grandson! He gets spoiled rotten!
I work as an advisor at Knight High School, working with the band's pagentry units. I love working with these girls (and two boys!!) Friday night they, as befitting the occassion, performed to Thriller!!! We had 100+ dancing. Not only were the pagentry dancing, we combined forces with our cheerleading squad and had them out there! They were amazing!!!

My co-workers!!! Ms. Jeanell is an awesome choreographer for the Song Girls (and head advisor) and Ms. Soto choreographs and is head advisor for the Drill Team!!

We had so much fun and NO meltdowns!!!

National Blog Posting Month

So once again it is that time of year - blogging every day for a month. Lucky for me I actually started on time. Whew! I don't post for a month and and start NaBlPoMo November 1st.
Anyway, the top two pictures are from the Antelope Valley Fair this past August. Honey and I went with our friend Suzy and had so much fun!
Here is another friends dog, Bosco. She let me practice taking pictures on him.
Honey will be in Texas for the rest of the week and I do not do well without my Honey.
