A day of sickness...

The house is awash in a stomach bug....I hate it when babies get sick. Because they can't tell you where (or how much) it hurts!! And Mater's mom is really sick, so it is Nana and Nona to the rescue. I'm not sick, just tired, not much sleeping going on around here.....I've taken two days off from school. Hopefully, today I can get a nap or two in and maybe some knitting......

Black and White/Wordless Wednesday....

This past weekend Honey, Shrimp, and I were in Las Vegas for showcase softball!! Shrimp is now practicing with Stealth. This has been a life lesson learning year for my Shrimp. Showcase softball is a tournament where teams pay for the privilege of playing in the heat and having college coaches coming to watch them play and hopefully offer scholarships!! It was very interesting and such an education in the scholarship world of sports!! We had so much fun! We had a very late dinner at New York, New York at the Nine Irishmen Pub (awesome Shepherd's Pie!!) and after dinner, we jumped on the NY, NY rollercoaster!! 

Not our best plan, but we survived and I never have to ride that coaster again!!! Another showcase is coming up this weekend, and as I was working (yea, the coach put us to work - videotaping, scorekeeping, which was done live to the computer - that was awesome!!!) hopefully I can practice working with my camera more!!
