It's a knitting post!!!

My ITouch needed a home - so I whipped up this!!! I put a pocket in the front for the earbuds and it has a button! There is a little tiny hole in the bottom (no picture!) so I can listen while walking around!

I made this bag for my Blackberry. I knitted around the holster and sewed it on so that the holster stays in place. Now, I grab my keys, throw on my phone and Ipod and I am ready to go!!! I sometimes keep my id and a credit card in my phone bag so no purse carrying!!

A friend liked my phone carrier and asked for a purple one. So, here is hers with my phone in it. I'll get some pictures when I give it to her!!!

This is the first Ipod carrier I made. It was a little too small as was the pocket. Besides, the cat got to it!!!!

I used the anniversary yarn from Solvang for the Blackberry holder and first Ipod carrier. It was store spun and I can't find the label.
I used Simply Soft for the next Ipod carrier. I love Simply Soft. I use it for just everything!!!!
I used Knit Picks sock yarn doubled up (black and a purple colorway) for my friends phone carrier.

Ok now I want one.....

I absolutely love my ITouch. I have a blackberry and I am finding myself touching the screen! WTH?!?
So, now I am hinting for an IPhone!! Honey has a first gen IPhone and she NEEDS to upgrade - but me I just want.
I have resisted because I really like my phones coverage (Sprint) and I hated the touch screen on her phone. I could never type the correct words and couldn't move around the phone easily. But, since I am now working with my ITouch, well, it is soooooo easy.
But, both cars need brakes, we new a mattress, Christmas is coming up, and we have not one but TWO birthdays in December. Oh yea and my washer and dyer died so I need those also.
So, maybe for my birthday in April. Sigh...........

A Lazy Saturday...

Well, the high school team lost last night. It was a short CIF playoff season for us! But it did make a long evening for me. A two hour drive there (Redondo Beach at rush hour! Yuck!) it was pretty chilly that close to the beach, and then the long drive home! Needless to say, I was pretty pooped this morning.
Even though the softball season is done, apparently the girls still want to play. So, this morning we headed over to the park to "practice."
We then went and bought Star Trek. When we got home, I crashed for a few hours. I'm really wondering what happened to me! Used to be I could go for days on a few hours sleep! Now? Nope! Getting old SUCKS!
Woke up in time to watch the UCLA game.

Anyway, just wanted to say, I loved New Moon! I thought it was sooooo much better then Twilight!!! I can't wait to put NM on my Ipod! (Star Trek is being loaded tonight!! Yea!!!)

No pictures today. But I do have these for today. I flower from Santa Barbara. Max. And Peanut!!!
Tomorrow is wooden bat league!!!!

All vampire all the time...

I just discovered True Blood (thanks Netflix!). I finished watching season 1 this morning. And as always, I think the cutest vamp is the bad boy - Eric. Yummy. Seriously. Hotness.
And unlike James, he makes it to season two, I think. I mean Netflix doesn't have season two out yet. But since he didn't die in season 1, I have high hopes for him.
Which brings me to New Moon. That's right, I have tickets for tonight - 12:05am. Honey is less then trilled, but going anyway! She's so great to put up with me!
That's it for today. I have to go take a np now. Because, when we went to see the midnight showing of Harry Potter, I discovered midnight is way past my bedtime. I hate being old!!

Disneyland Pictures...ummm lots of pictures

I "borrowed" Honeys CoolPix camera for the day. Next time I'm not taking so much in my purse and I am taking my Rebel. That being said, here are my pictures of our day.
Pirates of the Carribean! First ride ALWAYS! Then on to Haunted Mansion.

Honey's eye is still a little black and blue from last week - so she isn't real happy to have her picture taken. But, in a rare moment I got this one! We were waiting to get out picture taken for our passes!!
Tomorrowland! We skipped Star Tours this time and went on the Toy Story ride. Next time we go, we are going to California Adventure. Never been there. I really don't like rollar coaster rides anymore, but just want to see what's going over there. Can you say - Love having season passes!!!
Buzz is cool!

When I was a kid - the submarine ride closed. My dad always said they used to have mermaids swim in the lagoon. Could never verify because it closed. It had just reopened when we spent Christmas at Disneyland in 2007 and the wait was THREE hours. Needless to say we didn't ride the ride. However, yesterday the park was relatively empty so we waited maybe a half hour. It was a pretty cool ride. No mermaids though.

While we were in line for Small World, we saw this lady. Honey is always rolling her eyes at me because I talk to anyone and everyone. She told me her daughter had made these savanger hunt booklets up! It was really cool!

I love Christmas time at Deisneyland. And Halloween also, but Christmas is so cool!!!! After, I got te ride, I heard plink! I looked down and one of my brand new pins had dropped INTO the small world river! Holy Moly!! I told the ride operators about it and by the time someone came to retrieve my pin a boat had rolled over it and it was gone. But Mike came to the rescue!! I got a replacement pin (even if the paperwork just say pen not pin!) Love Disney!

This is the sign in the boat. It kinda struck me as amusing! The red circle part, I mean!!!

The Princess and the Frog is opeing in December. On our way to get my pin, this was going on! It was pretty cool!!

Ok one more picture of Jack! Love Jack!!!

Need I say more?

I registered for classes for next semster today. Three classes, oh what was I thinking? When I come to my senses I will figure it out. But at least I have the classes I want/need! Photoshop II, Web Design II, and Special Studies in Photography!

Monday at Disneyland... but no pictures until tomorrow!

We are at Disneyland! We bought season passes! I have lived here all my life and this is the first time I've ever had season passes for Disneyland! next month we are getting them for the kids! It really wasn't crowded today and being here just makes me so thankful my stroller and baby days are behind me! Honey and I are having a great time! The parade is starting in 5 minutes and I will have pictures and stories tomorrow. (Let's just say, I cannot be trusted around water!) Just wanted to make sure I got post in, in case I don't make it home in time! I hope this cellspin works!

Birthday Bowling....

I'm going to start todays post with a picture of two of my kitties. George is closest and Mama is in the back.

We went bowling today to celebrate Honeys brothers birthday. Followed by food at her dad's house. Now let me start by saying, I love to bowl and I completely suck at it. Honey and I were in a league a few years ago and we had a lot of fun. I have no idea why we stopped. Oh yeah, softball. Anyway, I have included a picture of the final scores of the team I was on. Can you guess which is mine. Oh yeah. 72! It takes a lot of work to get a 72!!!! Two games and I got a combined score of 158! I rock!!!

He has a pink balloon because the girl handing them out was cute and what's a guy to do? Especially when your younger brother is "helping" you out!!!

Tomorrow we have a doctors appointment and then Disneyland!!!! I am so excited! Just us - NO KIDS!!! We usually take them Christmas day! But tomorrow is not christmas day so it's just gonna be us!

No more softball!!! Until next season!

That's right the fall season is over! I get my saturdays back!!! I am so excited!!!
Of course, I KNEW today was the last day of softball and of course I forgot my camera!
The day started easy enough. Up to make scrambled eggs and bacon for the family. Then a nap. (It's exhausting cooking for all those kids!!!) Then we had to be at the field at 12 noon for a 1pm game. The first of four. The first game the other team didn't show up! Yea we won! At this time it wasn't too cold but getting there. The second game we won 10-3. By the third game the wind had kicked up and it was freaking freezing!! Don't even get me started by the 6:30 game it was dark, cold and windy! We lost the last two games. Buddy and Gibbs went with us - Gibbs cause he always gets to go and Buddy becuase we are socializing the puppy. Poor Gibbs spent most of the day in his jacket on someones lap under their jacket. Buddy spent it on a blanket.
So, now we are home trying to thaw out. Tomorrow is Honey's brothers birthday and we off to bowl and have cake at her dads house!!! I with not forget my camera!
Ilove my Itouch and my pouch is almost finished!! (Knitted of course with anniversary yarn - the yarn I got when Honey took me to Solvang and San Simeon for our anniversary last March!) Pictures soon!!

Christmas came early...

Every other Friday, Honey has the day off, so that is our errands day. Sometimes, it's a movie and errand day, and sometimes it's Christmas.

We usually start with breakfast. Crazy Otto's. We've been there so much, our waitress just says, "Hello girls! The usual?" We can never finish and we order the HALF order! They have the best biscuits and gravy ever!

After breafast, we just spend some time together, without the kids. I look forward to our time so much. Anyway, today we went looking for ideas for the kids for Christmas. And she surprised me with this! An Ipod Itouch!!!!! I lost my old nano about a month ago and have been hinting for a new one. I'm pretty horrible about waiting. She thought I was looking to buy when really I was looking to buy for the kids. I know we were all surprised!!! But then she said I could get an Itouch - it's my christmas present! Merry Christmas to me!!!
Tomorrow is filled with softball!

This might fall under TMI but here goes...

Today I had my first mamogram. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and only took a few minutes. No reason, just think my doctor discovered I had never had one (and I am past the age when I should have had one) and referred me. I forgot to ask when results would be sent, dang!!
