The Surprise Birthday Party Weekend
My mother and my youngest sister share a birthday! 
My sister's husband planned a surprise birthday party for her (not for mom because she was in on it!) My sister from Seattle drove down with her two girls and I loaded up the truck with kids and we headed up to San Fransisco for the weekend.
This was the view for the drive home! 300 miles of this!!!

My nieces from Washington, Denver and Delaney! While my mother, sisters, and I were out Sunday morning getting mani/pedis, the kids were helping to clean the house and get the party ready to go!

e day doing crafts! Isn't Michael's the place best place ever?!
The party was so much fun! Stories were told (much to the birthday girl's total embarrassment!) Her work friends were there, as well as her best friend from high school! Yes, that is what you want, stories from your childhood being told to your co-workers!! The party was catered and we had the best Mexican food! And margaritas!!! Then we played guitar hero! Til the wee hours, ok 11:30! But still....

My brother-in-law makes the best omlettes! Even if they start out in an A's helmet!

Birthday girl and her scarf!! I crocheted her a pink ribbon scarf! What it is supposed to look like is here!
And I managed to keep my 90 days alive! My sisters and I walked(they jogged) and Saturday and I walked on Sunday! Then on Monday, I hit the treadmill for an hour, that's right AFTER a hellish six hour drive! Yea me!

PUPPIES!!!!!
Finally!! After 24 hours of labor - during which Honey and I got no sleep!!- 3 girls and 2 boys!! The puupies got here pretty quickly once she got going. One every 15 minutes or so. Well, except for baby girl number 3 - she decided to make her grand entrance an hour and a half after everyone else!! Baby is a good mama, Honey have been picking up babies and cleaning, etc. with not even a sideways glance from the new mom. Well, she did look sideways at kittykitty!!!
Only four puppies here - we thought we were done!!!
But nope - there are five!!!!
She had decided our bed was a great place to give birth!!!! She got moved mere moments before the big event!!!! Notice how I spent the 24 hours of labor - see the KNITS mag behind her?
This is how we got into her whelping box. Honey had to get in with her!!!! Honey stayed there through three births!!!!!
